Bethany Hickman
Hygienist
Bethany was raised in Mesa, Arizona. She graduated from Mesa High School. She received her Associates Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Dental Hygiene in May 2011 from Phoenix College.
She is married to her husband Kevin and has four children, Kylee, Peyton, Taylor, and Grayson. They moved to North Logan in July 2015. She joined the LoganSmiles team in August 2016.
She loves what she does and loves interacting with her patients and her coworkers. She gives her best 100% of the time and if you are lucky, she'll sing to you during your cleaning.
Rachel Tupuola
Dental Assistant
Rachel is one of our dental assistants here at LoganSmiles. She was born in Alaska, started school in Korea, then at 8 years old moved here to Cache Valley where she's been ever since,
She graduated from Mountain Crest High School and soon after married her husband, George. They have four children, Keone, Manai'a, Siaosi, and Kekoa. During high school, Rachel took a dental assisting class at the Bridgerland Applied Technology College, which later led to her taking the full time program. She completed her internship with Dr. Scott and was hired as a full time assistant.
25 years later she's become a familiar face at our office. Rachel's favorite part of her job is the relationships she's made with her patients as well as her coworkers.
Vikki Jessen
Front Office
I started in the dental field in 1986 after I graduated from the Health Professions College. I started out as an assistant, but have had the opportunity to learn many things in the dental field.
Here at LoganSmiles, I originally started at the front desk, but I now get to focus on making sure all our patients receive the compensation their dental plan allows. Even though navigating the insurance companies can be very frustrating at times, I get great satisfaction from solving problems, getting difficult claims resolved, and helping people understand their benefits.
In our free time, my husband Jim and I, enjoy spending every moment we can with our 2 kids and 4 grandchildren. Our son, Shelby and his wife Alesia, have two children, Ryder and Mila. Our daughter Nalyn, also has two children, Ophelia and Hazen. My absolute favorite things to do with my family are traveling and camping, but when I'm not creating memories with family, you'll likely find me with my nose buried in a good book!
My favorite thing about my job, besides all the amazing people I get to meet, is the dedicated team I'm fortunate enough to spend my work days with!
Shannon Bingham
Dental Hygienist
Shannon was raised in Perry, Utah and has lived in Cache Valley for 20 years. She graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. Shannon and her husband have 3 children who spend most of their free time at soccer games. She also loves to plant veggie gardens and flower pots.
